OUR START
With a reputation as San Diego’s premier recruiting and focus-group facility, Taylor Research had humble beginnings. Susan Taylor, a pioneer in the research industry, founded Taylor Research in 1957, working from her kitchen table. She and her team went on to help introduce everything from dog food, diapers, cars, and medications to any product awaiting an unofficial seal of approval before entering the marketplace. Taylor Research was also among the first market research firms to use focus groups in the 1970s. The company quickly gained a national reputation for testing and evaluating products and services for some of America’s leading companies, such as Anheuser-Busch, General Motors, Hewlett-Packard, and countless others.
We continue that legacy today, with our primary focus the same as it has always been; providing the market research industry with consistent quality results that they can count on and a level of expertise that is unmatched.
